Earth Observation Data Economy, an innovation catalyst

Earth observation data carries a multitude of stories. Thanks to accessibility and distribution of this data, many challenges are being met, both on economic, social and environmental sides. Multiple sectors of activity express the need to access Earth observation data to stimulate innovation and develop their business.
Thanks to the circulation of data within a secure and trusted environment, major players from the entire extended ecosystem, such as energy, environment, mobility, agriculture, to name a few, exploit the abundance, diversity and richness of such data from isolated sources and develop many use cases with high-impact.
This workshop will address the impact of Earth observation data flow on the economy through expert testimonies from the space industry, data economics, technology leaders and innovative companies.
These impacts will be illustrated through presentations of Space Data Marketplace, the Earth observation data marketplace, and inspiring use cases capitalizing on the power of data.
