EuroCC

National Competence Centers on HPC, HPDA and AI

As part of the European Union's Horizon 2020 EuroCC project, the 33 participating partners have established a single National Competence Center (NCC) in their respective countries in the field of HPC, HPDA and AI. These NCCs coordinate activities in all these technology areas and provide a single point of contact for customers in industry, academic research and the wider economy. The EuroCC project was funded for 50% by H2020 (EuroHPC Joint Undertaking [JU]) and 50% by national funding in each country partners for a 28 month time, from 01.09.2020 to 31.12.2022.

→ THE ACTIONS OF THE COMPETENCE CENTERS

The 33 Competence Centers provided orientation maps for training, skills acquisition, and service offerings for HPC, HPDA and AI technologies.
These maps are essential for disseminating these technologies and raising awareness among users. They allow any user, wherever in Europe, to know where he can get training, expertise, skills or service offers.
This work has been carried out in each of the 33 countries following an identical process enforced by the Commission as integral part of a European cartography, led by the CASTIEL Action for the coordination of national HPC Competence Centres, all resources accessible from the «EuroCC Access» portal: https://www.eurocc-access.eu.
