ENSIIE

The “ENSIIE - Ecole Nationale Supérieure d'Informatique pour l'Industrie et l'Entreprise” (National School of Computer Science for Industry and Business), formerly known as “IIE - Institut d'Informatique d'Entreprise”, is a French public grandes écoles specializing in computer science, mathematics and business management.

Attached to the ministry “MESRI – Ministère de l’Enseignement Supérieur, de la Recherche et de l’Innovation”, ENSIIE engineer school is active in training, research and innovation, with the aim of graduating engineers.

Through the experience of three training periods, specific courses are possible: software engineering & security, high performance computing & big data, applied mathematics, interactive technologies.

Shared with ENSIIE, the C-19 cluster is an open and innovative ecosystem combining training, research and entrepreneurship. Within C-19, all initiatives are integrated, in an approach that goes from ideation to the development of business. The C-19 I also a place of innovation, with technological equipment, including a datacenter, and rooms of creativity and conviviality.

ENSIIE & Teratec

ENSIIE’s cooperation with TERATEC is based on actions such as:

  • training activities around dedicated courses, particularly about the themes of HPC, Big Data, Artificial Intelligence…

  • partnership around R&D topics involving our two entities, in particular our teachers and researchers (calls for papers, proofs of concept, chairs…

  • cooperation in innovation and industrialization, involving the C-19 cluster.

R&D Project

R&D projects in the ENSIIE ecosystem include:

  • projects taking place within the framework of the IDAML (Industrial Data Analytics and Machine Learning) Chair, which is held by Mathilde MOUGEOT, Professor ENSIIE; for example, the thesis “Analyze data produced by HPC infrastructure” by Théo Saillant, or the thesis «Compromise between precision and performance in high performance computing» by Nestor Demeure;

  • projects around the C-19 datacenter, particularly with the CEA (Atomic Energy Commission).
