Numerical simulation technologies, especially high performance computing, are playing an increasingly central role in the field of health, for example in the search for new therapies and for the understanding of fundamental mechanisms of the human body.
The purpose of this workshop is to review areas where significant advances have been made in recent years: The use of HPC for modeling the spread of epidemics illustrated in particular by the Covid pandemic, imaging issues, the study of the brain and the use of neural network methods.
Thanks to presentations by the best specialists in the field, this workshop will be an opportunity to take stock of such important work and to discuss the potential projects to be set up to best respond to one of the major challenges of our society.
