Teratec Forum 2023 about to mark the acceleration of digital technology
Digital technology is now at the heart of research and industry. In just a few years, it has become a major component of daily activity everywhere and in some cases, even the main driver of business development. Yet, recent developments in digital technology and prospects for the next few years show a strong acceleration, both in terms of performance and possibilities but also in terms of uses, up to the creation of completely new activities of which true contribution and induced potential risks are difficult to measure in advance.
To provide for the best opportunities, we must work on three areas: training, investment and preparation. This is what we are going to do during the next Teratec Forum in a new location, the Parc Floral de Paris, and with a new format thanks to the alliance that we have established with Infopro Digital.
In order to prepare and use performances brought about digital technology, you have to invest and it is not a question of budget only. The first investment is to get informed about new possibilities that digital technology offers or will offer in each fields of activity concerned. The Teratec Forum's workshops and round tables will enable to take stock of these developments, their contributions and risks we must prepare for. We will be able to meet exhibiting technology companies and we will also welcome a great series of speakers such as Thomas Skordas, from DG Connect demonstrating the essential role played by Europe, industrial suppliers and users, and great scientists such as Alain Aspect, the recent Nobel Prize winner.
I am very happy to see you at the Parc Floral de Paris on 31 May and 1 June and I wish you all an excellent Teratec Forum.
