Do not miss our Workshops at Forum Teratec
On its second day, the Forum Teratec offers 8 technical and application workshops to fully understand the contributions of HPC, Digital Simulation, Big Data and Data Learning (AI) serving competitiveness of companies.
Beyond the plenary sessions held Tuesday, June 11 and taking stock of state-of-the-art simulation, high-performance computing, Big Data and Data Learning (AI), our second day of the 14th Forum Teratec on Wednesday, June 12 will bring together 8 thematic workshops with renowned international experts and manufacturers presenting innovative implementations and developments of these promising technologies. Thematic workshops for this year are as follows:
- A1 - Digital Twins: from concept to industrial implementation
- A2 - Quantum Computing: which applications will benefit ?
- A3 - Environment, natural resources and climate change
- A4 - Data and digital Sciences for precision medicine: from projects to reality
- A5 - Machine Learning & Predictive Maintenance: challenges and strategy for industrial sectors
- A6 - Additive Manufacturing & Composite Materials: simulation becomes essential
- A7 - Data handling and management
- A8 - Autonomous systems
A unique opportunity to base your own opinion on major sectors where these technologies will play a leading role, such as: Health, Autonomous systems, Environment, Additive manufacturing... as well as targeting innovative technologies under development: Artificial Intelligence and Deep Learning; Digital Twins; Quantum Computing; etc.
Visit dedicated home page on our website, and book now those Workshops you wish to attend on Wednesday, June 12.

A6 - Additive manufacturing & Composite materials: Simulation becomes essential
Chaired by Dominique Ghiglione, CETIM
By creating material at the same time as the part, metallic additive manufacturing involving composite materials require the use of numerical simulation. It guarantees production of parts that meet specifications as well as adequate manufacturing processes. This workshop will review the latest advances in these fields through interventions from industrialists and academics.

A7 - Data handling and management Chaired by Jean-Yves Blanc, CGG
Numerical simulations, large scale experimental devices or sensor networks generate exponential amounts of data. Handling as well as managing such data is a real challenge for many industrial and scientific sectors. The objective of this workshop is to review: the impact on the architecture of processing capacities and the design of data centers; the impact of HPDA in managing volumes of data.
