LNE, THALES AND TERATEC ORGANISE THE 3rd EDITION OF THE TQCI SEMINAR dedicated to quantum computing benchmarks
Building on the success of the first two editions, which brought together more than a hundred quantum computing experts to discuss the need for benchmarks and present some fifteen European and international initiatives, LNE, THALES and TERATEC are organising the 3rd edition of the international TQCI seminar dedicated to benchmarks for quantum computers. As in the previous two years, the presentations will focus mainly on applications and uses.
The two-day conference will provide an opportunity to take stock of the needs of the various players, the challenges and progress of the many international initiatives and the outlook for the years ahead, with particular attention paid to the need for standardisation. As always, it will also be an opportunity to exchange views with an increasingly diverse range of players in the field.
The seminar will be structured around several key sessions:
- Benchmarking needs and challenges
- Overview of international application-oriented benchmarking initiatives
- A review of hardware-level benchmarks
- Standardisation efforts
- Future perspective and developments
We could count on the participation of a programme committee made up of international experts whom we would like to thank for their involvement: Alexia Auffeves (CNRS), Andres Gomez (CESGA), Félicien Schopfer (LNE), Frédéric Barbaresco (THALES), Gregoire Misguich (IPHT CEA), Jeanette Lorenz (FRAUNHOFER), Mitsuhisa Sato (RIKEN), Olivier Hess (EVIDEN), Oscar Diez (European Commission), Tom Lubinski (QED-C), Emmanuelle Vergaud (Teratec), Ward van der Schoot (TNO)
