The European Centre of Excellence Performance Optimisation and Productivity
→ PROJECT OBJECTIVES
POP2 "Performance Optimisation and Productivity" is a centre of excellence (CoE) in the European H2020 framework programme. It brings together the best European experts in performance analysis of parallelized codes. This second phase of the project started in December 2018 and ran until the end of May 2022. This project offered free services to developers, users, code vendors and HPC infrastructure providers located throughout Europe. The programme cuts across all areas of activity, offering performance analysis and "proof of concept" services to improve the performance of parallelized code. It also offers training sessions to get to grips with the performance analysis tools and to master best practices in parallel programming, so as to achieve greater efficiency in HPC calculations.
