HPC technologies and applications in the healthcare sector

The healthcare sector is making increasing use of information and communication technologies in general, and high-performance computing in particular. Indeed, the rapid development of data storage, sharing and analysis technologies is revolutionising the medical and healthcare industries. The scope of application of these technologies covers all medical requirements in areas such as prevention, diagnostics and therapeutic treatment. Examples of such applications were described and illustrated through testimonials, experiences and different industrial cases.
