New approaches to big data analytics in agriculture

Digital technologies are playing an increasingly important role in tackling the major challenges faced by agriculture. Indeed, data acquisition, analysis and processing technologies have become of key importance in all agricultural sectors, allowing for the development of new, more effective decision-making tools covering all plant lifecycle phases. This workshop brought together major technology providers and end-users to discuss potential applications of IoT and machine learning technologies in various agricultural activities : agricultural selection/experimentation, crop management assistance, agricultural insurance.
