Gérard Roucairol presented the 2011 activity report while addressing many topics such as the implementation of Teratec Campus, the Small and Medium Enterprises Committee, the recommendations of the Scientific and Technical Committee, the R&D activities with the collaborative projects, the first results of the MIHPS master's degree, international cooperation, and promotional and communications activities. 

The guest of honor Jean-Luc Beylat, President of the Systematic Paris Region cluster, stressed the importance of the HPC community for Systematic, the HPC supplying the SDDT group and constituting a very important resource through its relation with other professions.

Representatives from five companies (L’Oreal, Mentor Graphics, Kalray, Dell and Noesis), which recently become members of TERATEC, also participated in the occasion.

TERATEC's perspectives and priorities for 2012 are the management of the Campus, which needs to become "the living center for HPC thought training in France," welcoming new companies, pursuing and increasing European actions, and the development of activities to diversify the uses of high performance computing.
