TQCI Seminar

Willing to explore Near-Term
Quantum Computing ?

13 & 14 November 2024 – Paris-Saclay

We would like to invite you to this seminar dedicated to the expectations for quantum computing in the next 3 to 5 years and the hurdles to alleviate to meet these expectations.

⏩November 13th - exchange with industrials and academics

• The morning, academic experts will answer a user group of 6 industrials from the defence, transport and banking sectors, on the technological obstacles they have identified in 4 cross-disciplinary algorithmic fields (optimisation, ML, materials and scientific computing) to derive value from the technology

• The afternoon will be dedicated to an exchange between academic experts and providers on the next challenges to be faced on each technology: supra conducting qbits, cold atoms, trapped ions, photons based qbits, silicon spin qbits and carbon nanotubes.

⏩November 14th - two parallel sessions will be held

One session will take a deeper look on Quantum algorithms and the other one will dive into Quantum sensors for industries :

Algorithms : Latest results on Material Science, Machine Learning and optimisation will be proposed

• Sensors : Presentation of the needs from the industry will be provided. Solutions which include NV centers based magnetometers, gravimeters will be presented by their manufacturers.

Organized in partnership with EDF and Naval Group, this seminar will take place on 2 days, you can assist one of them or both.

"On November 13th, after the sessions, you are also invited to attend the networking cocktail: take the opportunity to exchange ideas with the members and experts present, in the exceptional setting of the EDF Lab.

And thank you to our sponsors Welinq & Pasqal!
