The UVSQ-PRISM Research group has been working for almost 20 years in the area of High Performance Computing. Its main areas of expertise are performance evaluation of parallel systems, compiler optimisations, memory system architecture and optimisation, numerical and embedded libraries. With MAQAO, it has developed a tool for analysing and optimizing assembler code quality. UVSQ is involved in a number of research activities and projects on HPC and collaborates world-wide with partners both from industry and academia. UVSQ has set up a joint Exascale Computing Research and Development Centre (ECRDC) together with Intel, CEA and GENCI, with the goal of addressing future HPC challenges.
